If you do the full delete, I highly recommend the Profab EGR delete tube. The delete tube and up pipe were excellent.”
Jimmy- Make a full delete, not just the top of the bell (blocker plate). The most difficult part of the cleanup is unscrewing the bolts that hold the bell in place, so if you have the chance to loosen them, do so. It also appears to be clean. With 175,000 miles on it, this is my EGR and cooler. It’s simply stupid to put it in your engine. I’ve seen much worse sights with only 3-4 hours of work.
Jack- Without a doubt, the best parts come from the Deviant race parts. It costs $450 to purchase the entire kit, which includes the new stronger up-pipe. It is worthwhile not only emotionally, but also financially, if your EGR cooler is leaking externally. The downpipes were the most difficult to install. Fortunately, I completed both tasks. By the evening, the EGR cooler had been replaced. It took nearly an hour to remove the EGR.

I chose the Sinister with the reliable cap plate. It’s been up for over two years with no problems, and the crack up-pipe is a complete myth; that’s all there is to it. Fortunately, it’s only caused by people pushing the more expensive option.
Knowing that mine might crack, I’d take an LB7 up-pipe along with the Sinister deletes to recharge the grid heater.
If you get the Sinister, only replace the EGR gasket; don’t ask to use the old one. Furthermore, there will be less work involved, and the installation will be relatively simple.
Other EGR delete kits that require an up-pipe or rebuilding an additional portion of the engine look nicer. If you abandon the stock grid heater that you keep with the Sinister.
If the grid heater is required, it must be purchased in addition to the other EGR. It is more expensive for you. Yes, if you’ve removed the EGR, the grid heater will lengthen the processing time.
